Yaw Tog made Stormzy popular in Ghana-'Kumerican' lady fires (Video)

A lady has jumped to the defence of Kumasi-based rapper Yaw Tog over his comment he recently made about Ghanaian UK-based rapper Stormzy.

Recall that Yaw Tog in an interview with TV3 opined that his collaboration with Stormzy on ‘Sore’ remix made the latter more popular in Ghana.

Yaw Tog also indicated that the collaboration benefited both himself and Stormzy adding that people shouldn’t think he was able to reach 1 million views on youtube within a day because of Stormzy’s influence.

This comment made by Yaw Tog over the week has attracted mixed reactions among Ghanaians.

However,a ‘Kumerican’ lady has jumped to the defence of the young rapper as she stated emphatically that Yaw Tog made Stormzy more popular in Ghana.

According to her, no one in Ghana knew of Stormzy till he featured on Yaw Tog’s ‘sore’ remix.

The lady lambasted Entertainment pundits and critics who claimed Yaw Tog disrespected Stormzy by making such remarks about him.
