Netflix tweeted: “The world’s greatest heist comes to an end. The final episodes of La Casa de Papel/Money Heist arrive on 3 December.”
The first half of season five ended with the team still trapped in the Bank of Spain, as fan favourite Tokyo sacrificed her life to help the others get away.
Director Álex Pina previously said of the second part of season five: “In Volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters.
“It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure.”
Speaking to Oprah Daily earlier this year, he said: “We do have many possibilities for some spinoffs, and I think that’s thanks to the strong and powerful identities of the characters.
“We’ve always looked for characters to have a very complex, layered design. So I think almost every character of Money Heist has a duality that we would like to see in a spinoff. We could watch any of them in other contexts.”

‘Money Heist: The Experience’ is an immersive event that will give fans all around the world the chance to put their criminal cunning to the test.
Would-be thieves in London, Paris, Miami, Mexico City and New York will be recruited into the notorious gang and challenged with sneaking into a host of international targets, including La Monnaie de Paris – the French mint.
Directed by The Professor, the group will attempt to infiltrate these institutions – specific to the region – and prove they have what it takes to be part of the infamous crew.
