Friends of Nigerian gospel musician Ebenezer Ayeni, are inconsolable and grief-stricken at the moment over the tragic death of the about-to-wed vocal instructor.

Ebenezer Ayeni was attacked by armed robbers who invaded his home in Ibadan, Oyo state on Thursday, June 10 and was shot in the process.

According to reports, the gospel talent was rushed to the University College Hospital Ibadan and another private hospital in the city but both clinics rejected him due to failure to produce a police report

He died hours later after bleeding out from the gunshot injury, reports say.

Ayeni was set to tie the knot with his fiancée the upper week before the incident happened.

Photos of the victim in the pool of his blood have since flooded social media.

Also, the friends of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn their beloved associate while also condemning the whole system that requires police report to treat a gunshot victim.
