A Ghanaian lady has advised fellow ladies to stop giving young men unnecessary pressure.
In her words:
” So I’m a young girl I meet a young guy in school, I like he likes me. We both completed school at the same time, and did our national service around the same time or let’s say he was ahead of me so he did his national service before I started mine.
He’s looking for a job and I am done also trying to look for a job and all of a sudden because I’m a woman I start to ask him for iPhone 14, I want to pressure him to have a car before he meets my standards.
Have I bought a car myself? Do I have an iPhone 14? Can I afford all these things that I am looking for ? Am I out of my mind to think this way? I was speaking to somebody who said this is the culture.
