Premier League club Aston Villa treated to indigenous rituals in Australia ahead of new season

Premier League outfit Aston Villa were treated to an indigenous welcome upon their arrival in Townsville, Australia.

The Birmingham-based club arrived in the Oceania country on Tuesday, July 19 for their preseason tour

Villa was treated to an amazing ritual by the aboriginal tribe in Townsville – Wulgurukaba Walkabouts – who performed a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.

In the playing body and coaching staff of the club headed by Steven Gerard, watched in glee the rituals performed by the indigenes.

The Clarets will come face to face with red-hot Manchester United on Saturday, July 23 at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
