Ghanaian comedienne and media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger born Valentina Osei Agyeiwaa has disclosed that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has embarrassed her and others particularly celebrities who campaigned for them.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Afia Schwarzenegger disclosed she campaigned for the NPP because of the Free SHS initiative.
She added that the NPP out of desperation for power claimed that there was money in the country and that the former government, the NDC mismanaged the economy so she cannot fathom why the NPP government have gone to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for support to help Ghana build back in the face of challenges currently confronting the economy.
Afia Schwarzenegger was quick to add that she is embarrassed by the NPP’s decision to go to the IMF for financial support as some policies in Ghana like the SHS may be affected.
