A massive brawl erupted aboard a GOL Airlines plane in Brazil after about 15 passengers, mostly women, got into a heated disagreement over a window seat — causing a two-hour delay.
Brazilian news outlet Aventuras na História reports that the fight broke out between two families Thursday shortly before take-off of flight G31659 — between Salvador, Brazil, and Sao Paulo — when a mother allegedly asked another passenger if they could swap seats with her child, who has a disability.
After the would-be flyer refused to switch seats, the woman had a violent meltdown and began to attack the passenger’s family, forcing flight attendants and the captain himself to intervene.
