Jim Jones Calls out BET for not letting him go to the Hip Hop Awards

Fat Joe was tapped to host the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, and many are set to make appearances at the event. One of the people who wanted to attend was Jim Jones, but noted BET sent him a message denying access to the event.

Jim Jones went on to post BET’s response to him, with their response being: “At this time, we are unable to accommodate additional audience talent requests. Due to COVID-19 protocols in place, this year’s show and red carpet are reserved for in-show talent, nominees, and select participating network partners only.”

Jones said, “I was trying to go to the bet hip hops awards and support my brother @fatjoe and this how @bet handled me lol lol Dam @BET I thought this was the hip hop award show.” He continued, “Somebody tell @fatjoe I tried don’t want him to think I ain’t keep my word told him I was comin But BeT says different maybe next time tear that s**t down joe They still talkin Covid and the cdc says ain’t no more Covid lol.” Take a look above.
