Is it true that only you can change your life, no one else can do it for you?

I have a list of really cool and successful people I’d like to change my life.

Here they are:

I’d like Dave Ramsey and Suze Orman to get together and organize my finances.

I’d become an excellent cook by having cooking skills bestowed upon me by Gordon Ramsey and Thomas Keller.

I’d be incredibly fit because I’d have David Goggins move in and wake me up at 4 am to do some personalized-just-for-me crazy workout that burns a thousand calories an hour.

Tom Bilyeu, founder of Quest and Impact Theory, would be my mindset coach and he’d just hang out with me constantly reminding me to do stuff and pushing me to be my best.

Sara Blakely of Spanx would be on speed dial so I could ask her business advice and because she seems so fun, I’d love to talk to her.

Liz Gilbert would be my writing coach/inspiration and maybe she’d even take over and ghostwrite my blog. (I bet that would help increase the traffic!)

If all these people would just come into my life and apply their expertise, my life would become amazing!

Unfortunately, they are all really busy living their own lives.

We can get

  • wisdom
  • training and skills
  • mentorship, guidance
  • advice
  • and inspiration

from other exceptional people.

But unless you are very wealthy, you must do the work.

And no matter how much money you have to hire other people, still, no one can do your push-ups for you!
