the regime will kill millions of their own people if it means holding on to power. they’ve proven it time and again. the worst was in the ’80s but there was not much video of that. Then again in ’99, ’09, ’11, ’19 and a bunch of other times.

The police and army are armed and are dealing with for the most part unarmed protestors. Since there are more protestors than police they will use their weapons to thin out the protestors. What is happening now will only get worse until the regime takes back control one way or another.
Nothing like witnessing the religion of piece in practice.
