“I can’t think of a greater scam than going to school for 16+ years only to get paid GH¢800 per month”-Ghanaian man laments

Following the high rate of economic hardship in Ghana and most African countries, there have been claims by the youth that over the years that education has proven to be useless.

Some are of the notion that degrees are no longer useful due to the high rate of employment in Africa.

Although the youth still believe school is a must to a certain extent, to them, attaining educational certificates does not in any way guarantee success.

A Ghanaian man has taken to popular Facebook group ‘Tell it All’ to share a similar sentiment.

According to the Facebook user identified as Toni Montana Gh, School is a scam because people will go through education for 16 years or more only to complete and get paid very little by employers.

He wrote:

“I can’t think of a greater scam than going to school for +16 years only to get paid 800gh per month..!”
