Loudmouth Ghanaian broadcaster, Captain Smart has opened fire on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr James Opong Boadu for saying crimes are expected to happen in Ghana since we are not in heaven.
After the sudden death of Constable Emmanuel Osei, Ghanaians have raised concerns and eyebrows on the structure of the Ghana Police Service as many criticize how the institution lacks the equipment to deliver and protect their lives in the line of their duties.
After the excess criticisms from Ghanaians, IGP told the media that he has reliably heard the voice of the mass but one thing he cannot guarantee is total peace since Ghana the nation is not equal to heaven.
Well, his assertion has sparked a lot of controversies on the internet as many bad-mouth him for his words.
Captain Smart has also reacted on Onua TV, saying what the IGP said is an insult to the president and the citizens.
According to him, if Ghana is not heaven, it shouldn’t be made to look like hell, adding that even in heaven, there was a fight between God and Satan.
Captain Smart, therefore, asked him to apologize and rescind his statement.
