Decorated Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has described the youth of Ghana as educated fools and disappointed graduates following the ongoing FixTheCountry campaign protest at Ejura.
Ghanaian youth for the past few months have taken to social media to demand proper accountability, good governance and better living conditions from Akufo-Addo and his NPP government.
Attempts by the campaigners to have a protest have been foiled by the police through a court action but the campaign continued online unabated.
The recent murder of one of the members of the #FixTheCountry campaigner, Kaaka Ibrahim Mohammed, by a mob in Ejura in the Ashanti Region reignited the campaign and got many talking both on social media and in mainstream media.
In one of her posts, he said the youths are educated fools and disappointed graduates.
“Educated fools and disappointmented graduates saying #FixTheCountry. Fix yourself cheap thinkers”, he wrote
