Portugal’s Skipper Cristiano Ronaldo has equalled former Skipper of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan’s record of scoring in nine successive major international tournaments.

Portugal won 3-0 against Hungary today in the Euro 2020 competition and Ronaldo scored twice.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace saw him join Asamoah Gyan as the only players to score in nine consecutive major International tournaments.

The Juventus poster boy has scored in every tournament including the World Cup and European Championships since 2004.

This information was made known by Squawka Football.

Asamoah Gyan on the other hand has scored in every Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) and World Cup tournament from 2006 to 2017.
