Arsenal should recall Torreira in January

The Gunners have turned a series of sour display to something fans can cher about. However, they are not exacty where they should be despite heavy transfer movements in the summer.

The Gunners seem to be missing something as thy hope to claw back to top four which is now seemingly impossible without deep pockets. The North London side are battling with injuries to some of their top players, especialy those who are in the middle of the park.

With the African Cup of Nations just weeks away, Arsenal have a real problem in their hands. They risk heading back to the subpar displays they showed in the beginning of the season when they lost their first three games, scoring zero goals.

At the moment, the likes of Thomas Partey and Mohammed Elneny will be set to feature for their respective countries when the tournament kicks off in January. Consequently, the Gunners will be short of options in the midfield when AFCON starts but visitors of real money pokies are left with greater odds that they club can still thrive.

They need a solution ASAP.

Talking of solutions, the Gunners do not need to look too far for solutions. They have a dependable, reliable player whom they have sent out on loan and can recall in January.

Lucas Torreira was the Gunners undisputed defensive midfielder in the 2017/18 season, the last season Arsene Wenger spent at the club.

He has been sent on loan to Spain and England since the departure of the legendary coach. In both countries, the midfielder has only proven to be a capable player.

So far at Fiorentina, he seems to be adapting well to the physical game in Italy which is remarkably different from the fast paced nature of the EPL.

In fact, there are rumour mils with unconfirmed stories that the Italian club may want to make his move permanent before the end of his loan. If Torreira is really back to his best, he is worth considering as a cover for the midfielders who may be injured and or going for the AFCON.

It is also important to note that Torreira had a strong start in his career at Arsenal as seen on leroijohnny casino en linge. He was only unlucky as.a series of injuries pushed him further and further from the first team.

He was an impressive figure in Wenger’s team. At Atletico, he performed good enough to help the Spanish club to a winning campaign.

The ball is in MIkel Arteta’s court whether he wik choose to bring back a Gunner or look elsewhere.
